Have you noticed that when walking the shoreline,navigating the wet sand along the water's edge,How it can be a metaphor for walking thru life?The sand feels nice on your feet,as the roughness of the grains, smooth the rough patches.Some places are older, time-worn,the sand is packed tighter, and your footing is solid,you may even be able to run with ease,leaving a perfect footprint behind.Then you will come across places that are newly wet,they have just met the sea.This is where your stride slows, as you walk slowly,deeply even.There is a suction to this sand, and what's left behind you aremore like holes,that fill with water almost as soon as your foot leaves the ground.You must be more deliberate walking here,choosing your footing carefully, there is no running,just slow, deep, careful steps.The water may even rush up and try to knock you off-balance,so you plant your feet,and sometimes even stop walking for a time.At which point your feet are buried to ankle,and it takes strength and balance to continue on your way.Did you notice that as you look back,any sign you walked there has been washed away?That perfect footprint has vanished.So have the big holes you left behind.Filled in, smooth and wet, and ready for someone elseto leave their mark.There is no sign of any struggle, of your loss of balance.It is forgotten, it doesn't exist.And if you look ahead, just more smooth sand in which to leaveyour prints.Will you walk in the older hard packed sand?maybe even follow in the footprints of others?Or will you venture closer to the edge,to the very new, very wet sand?knowing any misstep is forgotten, washed away.There are no prints to follow there,just a clean slate, a fresh stretch of beach.And you move forward, one foot at a time...

Children are mirrorsof aspects of ourselves that are lost.They show us innocence and wonder,as they look at the world thru unveiled eyes.They show us pure expression of emotion,no filters, no shame, no judgement at all.Huge tears of sorrow can turn to pure bliss in minutes!They posses a willingness to forgive,disappointments are forgotten,when they are in yours arms,there is only love.They remember the truth,their eyes twinkle with the wisdom,that they are magnificent souls disguised as children.Put into our care for a very short time,to mirror back to us,lost pieces of ourselves,that time has scattered to the wind.Do not try to change them or break them,they are here to help us remember home,and who we REALLY are.

Surrounding yourself with the bestis going to facilitate your journey thru lifein these days to come.The best food, and by that we mean, freshest, with the minimum of processing.Best also means in this context, grown in soil that is uncontaminated,and free of chemicals that can harm the body, the cells.Lots of fresh water is critical to your well-being.Hydration plays a huge part in how you move energy thru the body.If you become dehydrated, you will literally have a "burnt out" feeling.Your cells need a lot of water, again with minimum of processing.The most important aspect of insisting on the best,are the people you surround yourself with.Look around your life, and reflect on who contributes to yourlife, your energy, your soul,and who depletes it.Several will come to mind immediately, and some are hiding in the shadows and will reveal themselves as the year progresses.Please as soon as you have the realization, remove these people to a less important or constant role in your daily life.Do it with love, and kindness,It will really help you feel better, and it will serve them as well.Start insisting on the best, and it will be reflected in your life.

Striving for perfection,achieving perfection as you know it,is a losing proposition.It is like chasing your tail,and can only lead to frustration, anger,and disappointment.Holding yourself to high standards,is an admirable pursuit.But it must be done purely for your own growth,with your own yardstick,alone at your private finish line.Perfection is sneaky,and can feel as if it comes from inside you.But most often the picture of perfection,comes from the outside.The problem comes when you use the standards set by others.Society,"experts" ,your parents,Martha Stewart :)as the measure of what is perfection.That goal is an empty one,which can never really be met.It is fraught with obstacles.not enough time,not enough money,not the right people,things,skills,that look perfect to the rest of the world.You have set yourself up to fail,even before you get started,if the goal for every endeavor is perfection.And the criteria is not your own.Ask yourself before you start,Inside your own heart,"who am I going this for"?Then tell yourself the TRUTH.

As crazy as it seems,with so much diversity in this world.When all is said and done,You all have much more in common,than you can imagine!From the level of your DNA,to the blood than runs thru your veins.the composition of your brains,to the possession and placement of all your internal organs,there is much more that is identical, than is not.The differences start in the mind,when you become under the illusion that you are separate.When judgement takes over,and fear and insecurity see thru your eyes.Only then, can you look at your brother,and see a stranger.Only then, do the differences out weigh the similarities.For you are so much more alike, than different!You all want love and acceptance,looking for a place in the world where you belong.But anger and resentment can disguise this longing,making you think you are separate and alone.Wake up from this illusion,and realize the deception.The heart recognizes family,this human family to which you all belong.At this important time,On this special planet,Remember you are all one.connected at the heart.When you hurt one, you affect many.When you lead with love,you change the world.

Occasionally ,it is a good idea to check in with your body,and see what the current status is.We suggest you do this not only when there is an ailment or pain,although asking the body at that time is recommended as well.We are talking about sitting quietly, preferably each day,and starting at the head,just direct your attention inward.Listen to the different parts of your head and face.travel down your neck, your chest.Is there something you need to hear?You body will always whisper to you,and try to get your attention,before any pain or discomfort begins.Scan your arms , down your lower body, to your legs and feet.Listen to your cells,Check in with each organ.What is the general mood that day?Are you ingesting too much sugar for the body to process easily?how about caffeine?Is the alcohol consumption, especially at this time of year,taxing your liver?Your skin will tell you first.Are you getting enough sleep?aches and pains can be a result of too little sleep.Along with cloudy thinking, and just a general low mood.How about exercise?are you getting your blood pumping, and helping your heart?Moving vigorously, every day, along with stretching, yoga,tai chi and other forms of martial arts,help the body to detox, regulate hormone levels,and release beneficial chemicals that can elevate your mood andgeneral disposition.It is harder to be happy when your body is struggling.If you can do a body check-in every day,you will alleviate the need for worry.You will know intuitively what adjustments need to be madeto keep your body operating at peak efficiency,and that will go a long way in keeping your spirits high!

More than ever before,It is time to take a stand.Taking a position FOR something,Is the preferred energy than being AGAINST a thing.Being FOR peace, instead of AGAINST war,FOR equal rights, as opposed to AGAINST discrimination.You get the picture.As you develop and lean into the things that mean something to you,and as you show that face to the world,you will begin to lose your anonymity.Thru the years you have preferred to stand on the sidelines,as an observer of this human condition.But the time has come,and the energy now requires,that you get in the game.Get out there and mix it up,Let others hear your beliefs and point of view.Let them see your passion for quality of life,and the pursuit of happiness.For many that is a "Hallmark Card " mentality,but as you walk and talk your truth, as you see it,you can shift the energy.And as the energy begins to change,so can the surrounding circumstancesand people's minds.Letting people see what is inside your heart,Being not just another face in the crowd,but a voice for truth and reason,means you no longer hide your light.And THAT is truly courageous.

Here on Earth, the soul takes on a bodyto facilitate its journey on this plane.As the body becomes conscious and awake to its souls purpose,the mind becomes aware that the time here on Earth is finite.There was an agreement made as to the timing of its birth,and also it's departure, or death.Since the soul is infinite, the body is worn for a short time, in the scheme ofthings, to help it express itself in the physical.The timing and place of its human birth were carefully planned,and there are several windows , or times and situations agreed on forthe departure from the body.For the soul to depart, there has to be physical death.It is not an end, but a transition of energy, into its original form.Both the transition into and out of the body are very sacred,and the death is chosen carefully by the soul.On the plane where these decisions are made, there is pure clarity about this , and others souls agree to play a part in this transition.There are innumerable ways for the soul to leave the body, and sometimes a group chooses to leave together.That can look like human tragedy here on Earth.There is a very serious and sacred agreement made, lets say by a shooter, and his "victim".Especially when a group of souls decide to depart together.That shooter is required, on the level of the soul, to carry out his part in their departure.Souls can keep their appointment with death then, or continue with life and choose another window later. It is up to each individual soul the timing of their death. Many do change their paths.The shooter, however, must show up and play his part as long as there is even one soul in the group who chooses to leave.This sounds impossibly clinical and cold, especially when the soul is in the body of a child.Please know that all is well with these souls.They have only left the physical, as they knew they would.All is well with them. There is no fear or pain.They are no longer children,but magnificent souls that will continue to live and lovefor eternity.
